Some Russian guns use green tracers. Tracers can be any color really. In FB we see representations of green, red, blue, and yellow tracers on a regular basis.

i hope your kidding by asking this, but if not which is hard to believe ,its because russian ammo has green tracers and not red as is the most common with other countries

Ivan obviously doesn't like you. That's why he's shooting.
Try to raise your hands up and say : "Ich Kapituliere !"

Might help.

Yeah! You are right here. But that means that the Ivan's were evil, right? What color does the Brits have? Red?
Oh my! The world is so hard to understand!

Oops! For a moment I thought CrazyIvan had quit his FW-190 to fly for the VVS... false alarm... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

EDIT: By the way, yes, our TIE fighters do shoot red. At least until this morning when I last tried! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

See you...

Soviets used green Kryptonite bullets, to disable the nazi Supermen.

Although there is red kryptonite too, and that make the Superpilots wanna party instead of fight.

I thought it was one of those elements in the game that was more game than sim.

Now if everyone could stop joking and tell me that the colours were really like this in WW2 than I can sleep tonight knowing I actually learned a trivial but interesting factoid today. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Green tracers have better camouflage then red, so you won't see the bullets comming /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

if you can land good solid hits to the fuel tanks with tracer rounds, you will more than likely catch it on fire, which is fun to watch

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Old elephant joke (courtesy of my son Tad):

Q: How do you shoot a Blue elephant?

A: I don't know. How?

Q: You leave out a jar of peanut butter, and while he's busy eating the peanut butter, you shoot him with a Blue elephant gun.

Q: How do you shoot a Red elephant?

A: With a Red elephant gun?

Q: No, you leave out an empty jar of peanut butter. When the Red elephant comes to get the peanut butter and finds it empty, he'll get so mad that he'll hold his breath until he turns Blue. And then you can shoot him with your Blue elephant gun and save your money to get a new joystick, Daddy!

You don't resemble a Green elephant, do you?
