I must have read a million lines of very useful TS2 info over the last few days but still haven't found a solution so, reader patience (esp Tully!) willing, here goes:-

Teamspeak works fine standalone on me homegrown (Netgear DG834-based) LAN. The TS2 server's on a T22 laptop, clients on AMD64 and P4 3GHz - DXversion 9.0b. No probs (now!) with std settings and anon log-in BUT as soon as we fire up AEP2.04 for multiplay on the clients, TS2 mostly dies - only occasional stuterings from TS's built-in advisory girls voice) - one weirdness though, if we use our hat switches, we can get a bit of comms sound, occasionally (another related weirdness, when I move hatswitch to look left on the P4 machine, sound cuts out altogether in AEP)...

The AMD machine has just a mobo RealTek AC'97 soundcard (yep, I've read the FAQ bit 'Generally most onboard is very underpowered for use in IL2.') whereas the P4 machine has the above mobo card in use for TS2 and an Echo Gina card in use for AEP, (which BTW gives incredibly realistic sound FX!)

What to do? The fact that TS2 works fine standalone has me totally puzzled. It's using the std UDP port and AEP is using std TCP ports)
BTW, I have IL2's inbuilt 'radio comms' switched off in sound setup - is this right for both machines, bearing in mind P4 using seperate card for AEP?

Any suggestions gratefully received - first response will get my entire dxdiag report as booby prize ... ... ... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
