Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the soundtrack file for a given airplane engine. Is it just enough to replace a file by another one or it is not enough. Can I use recordings of real fighter engine sound.

Thank's for your help.

You could use this (http://chuck.cs.princeton.edu/) to read rpms via devicelink and output custom audio. You might even add flap and gear effects if you are so inclined.

I believe that a primary reason that this cannot be done is that it could be used as an exploit, particularly online. A person with no honor could replace the sounds with nothing like is done with the cfs series.
