Well, almost! Check out the development and game shots. The report at SimHQ said it'll be out by the end of the year. Personally, I want one of these babies:

It sure seems like its been a long time in the pipeline for this one.

Until the recent arival of the T34 v Tiger sim it was about my only hope for a halfway decent up to date ww2 land combat game.

Fingers crossed.

You'd think those would be a pain in the rear quarters to control.
I could see being at the wheel, and putting more than my fair share into the trunks of some fine Russian trees.
Now, open field, i'll show the other...Airpowered...ski...box...thingy pilots a thing or two! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

lo. Now think if buildign these thigs became a common practice. How do you think an US or German version fo it would be?

A PropSkey with 30 mm MK108? A propSky weighting 3 tons and that could travel 5000km without refuel...

WWMaxGunz

It has the look of a recon vehicle and/or for small action infantry use on the wide fronts
in the places where winter is half the time. Very fast compared to other and less prone
to sink in varying density snow. It lacks in one respect that how do you tow even small
arty, anti-tank, AA or supplies and ammo with it? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Just a bit too early for Bombardier
or Polaris, think of what a Ski-doo would have been to those guys, only upscaled!

cool looks like a good game.

I've noticed that 1C seems to like the odd and unusal. Oh Well, more fun for me!

rugame

If you go to 1C's home page you can see that they are behind alot of good games.

NonWonderDog

That's because 1C is the biggest games publisher/distributer in Russia, right? They're like a Russian EA, only less evil. They're actually a bit more than that, since they buy the Russian distribution licenses to most popular western games, too.

The real confusion comes in that 1C has a few in-house development studios, in addition to their main gig as a publisher. I can't think of anything comparable in the West. 1C/Maddox Games is just the most successful of 1C's various in-house develpment teams.

And where does Oleg stand at 1C?

I'd rather say, they are like Russian Microsoft. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The game publishing and developing business, actually, isn't the main source of their income.
They are developers and publishers of an accountant software, which is de-facto accepted as a standard for such software within Russia and CIS states for small and medium business and is supported by state institutions in this countries.
