Seems this would have repercussions on flying at Duxford.

Shouldn't think so Luft. That looks like a fairly early planning app - if Duxford have concerns about say general safety or approaching over a big concrete area instead of grass, then I'm sure they could raise them at the consultation stage.

Since they were there first, and are after all, THE Imperial war museum, I'm sure their views would be taken into consideration over a proposed Motorway service area.

swampy is still alive, we can hopefully return him to action if required http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I wouldn't get my underpants in a twist over this. As has been said it's an application and if there's any reasonable grounds to refuse it it will be refused.

You need to get planning authority signed in triplicate following a consultation process of several years conducted by a 100 council officials to get permission to put up a garden shed in green belt land (declined) yet it seems to be no problem to get permission to build 1000 supermarkets and service stations all over the countryside http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Maybe you should apply for a Tescos at the end of the lawn. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif
