View Full Version : Yp-80 A In Italy

YP-80 A Shooting Stars were operationaly tested in Italy in 1944-1945 by the 1 FG. Arado 234s were also flown over Italy. We have both planes in the sim, plus an 'Italian' map.
I think some interesting 'what if' scenarios can be thought up with the above information in mind. Has anyone made or is interested in making a P-80 from this period? They were painted in high gloss pearl grey.
Anyway, more information and some good pictures in the link below. (I particularly find the 'operational' paint job with the red and white shevrons interesting.)

There are several skins in that scheme, at the assorted sites. Good idea btw.

Cool! Better check that out.
So is anyoine interested in skinning the two 'italian' P-80s?
