The stick of preference for a lot of IL2 users because among other things the FFB means you have to be really dumb to ever stall http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Its been out of production for years but I just noticed gogamer still claim to have new ones for sale.

The best joystick ever made. Better than aby spring.. I always thought the gunshake was kind of hokey.. and the way you loose total FB in the sim if you window out is the reason why I have FFB turned off in the sim... but for sheer stick forces alone.. there is no equal.

You can adjust the stick shake and remove the gun shake alltogether, Just a matter of what you prefer http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I thought Ebay was the only place they could be found these days.
I have and MSFFB2, and the original MSFFB, but I haven't used them for Il2 in years.
They are good sticks, and I really liked them back in the MechWarrior heyday. Were talking 10 years ago when I was really into that stuff.

I think they stopped selling them to concentrate on developing Vista

The older sticks available on ebay are OK ...but they are often gameport not USB..so you need to find the old PCI sound cards which have a gameport...or use a gameport to USB adaptor....in which case you will lose the FFB ability

Hey what about the Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System (http://www.gogamer.com/Saitek-X52-Pro-Flight-Control-System-Accessories_stcVVproductId8283071VVcatId451798VVvi ewprod.htm) for $20 bucks less at $130. How is this stick/rudder combo? I've never used a rudder before, is it worth it? I currently use and get by with a Saitek Evo.
