Beautiful. I'd heard it before, but always nice to see people with the right idea. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Of course, it would appear he's not concerned about such insignificant concerns like over-penetration and cabin pressure, or anything... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Did a pilot really is that? If so, that makes it even funnier.

I like the ending, "At least they're on our side."

Can anyone translate what wk said I understan Roll on the floor laughing my a$$ of but nothing else.

And rikiah the only real concern is the problem of over penetration not cabin pressure watch the myth busters.
It takes a shaped charge detonating to ground the craft and even then (as proved by a flight on hawian airlines) a good pilot can land safely with the only injuries being to people in the blast vecinity and people who fall out or are sucked out due to the power of the blast. And although there was an explosion on that flight I believe there was only on casualty and that was a stuardess.

At 30,000 feet, though, holes in the fuselage would cause an oxygen concern, though, no? I wasn't suggesting a single bullet hole would necessarily bring a plane down (wouldn't that make anit-aircraft guns EXTREMELY effective, though), but I'm sure it would have negative effects. Of cousre, I guess that's what the little oxygen masks in the ceiling are for...

Yeah, I remember that. You definatly can't cause explosive decompression with a single bullet hole in a plane, but it would eventually cause oxygen concerns.
