So guys any good books on raiden... aswell as the early george... mostly about operational history? how about other japanese aircraft? aswelll as any other plane around. what series are good for books about single aircraft types? any one?

Operational history is hard to come by, however, the first two books listed below does a very good job at getting unit histories, followed by the third book which is a good reference source for technical data:

1) Japanese Army Air Force Fighter Units and Their Aces 1931-1945 (Ikuhiko Hata, Yasuho Izawa, and Christopher Shores)

2) Japanese Naval Aces and Fighter Units in World War II (Ikuhiko Hata, Yasuho Izawa - translated by Don Cyril Gorham)

3) Japanese Aircraft of the Pacific War (Rene Francillon)
