I understand that the craters suffered as a result of a direct hit from a bomb will last 10 mins - for arguements sake, shouldn't this be sort of indefinite? I mean, if the bases are going to be covered with Flak and fighters, whats the benefit of bombing the runways only for them to come back after 10mins? I'd say, if you let the bombers through (as in RL) and they damage your runway - tough!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

is this only in single player? bombed a friendly runway on a dogfighting server last night just to see the carter...nothing :-(

is this someone i have to change in the config?

Perhaps a longer crater time would be appropriate, but eventual expiry to simulate ground crews at the airifield fixing them or something.

I haven't actually tried it yet (my playing to date has been mainly doing touch-and-go's on carriers to practice landings and takeoffs) but I'm more concerned with Multiplayer as we usually have online wars with other squads (and guess who's flying the bomber?)
