I found this video online. 1996 NBC tv special "The Mysterious Origins of Man".

It is fascinating. A must-watch if you're starting to get into questioning everything we seem to know about where we came from. (which I think is a main goal of the AC franchise.)

I'm sure much of this material and references to specific points made in this film will be a focal point in AC2.5

Also a great video on Intervention Theory (The idea that there is no "missing link" that ties humans and primates, and that some other-worldly beings played a role in our creation) by Lloyd Pye on youtube.

Study up gang! This is in my opinion the direction the series is taking.

I have began to read Gaham Hancock's Fingerprints of the Gods and it is fascinating. He cites the theory of crustal displacement to explain the origins of the last ice age, and how the lost continent of Atlantis, as Plato cites as one of the most advanced civilizations the world has ever seen, could be located in Antarctica. Fossilized tropical climate plants have been found there as well as the frozen carcasses of mammoths perfectly preserved with warm weather vegetation in their stomachs.

He also talks about evidence of humans existing around the time of the dinosaurs, hundreds of millions of years before they were supposed to have 'evolved'.

This counter culture is interesting man I'm really getting into it.
