Some of you probably already know this.
But it still looks like there will be some nice Flying scenes in this movie.

Ore Kimi is not the actual title of the film. It's a contraction of the actual title 俺は、君のためにこそ*ににいく. (Ore wa, kimi no tame ni koso shini ni iku) Translates roughly to "I go to die only for you."

You can check the official site here:

Even if you can't read Japanese, you can still look at the pretty, pretty airplane pictures.

Go to the blog section and enter for your chance to win this piece of ****!

Looks like a very sad story to me. The movie clip quotes a woman who operated a diner near Chiran IJA base, from where hundreds and hundreds of 18 and 19 years old took off for one way journey. She says "they were all wonderful, beautiful young men."

About time a movie was made about the Kamikaze pilots. Look forward to seeing it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Indeed judging from the clips it will be a beautiful drama, with some great CG added in for epic aerial combat.

Kamikaze always makes me sad, but this mix seems to be even worse (in a good sense).

I'm planning to go this weekend, the wife might even join me so I know more fully what's going on. Don't expect the story to be terribly hard to follow though, even with my Japanese skills. I'll let you know if I go.
