View Full Version : When ever did a fully laden A/C ever take off from a staionary carrier?

When did fully fueled, fully armed and bomb carrying aircraft takeoff from a stationary carrier? I can't recall any instances where a carrier would have been anchored and launched sorties that would require full armament.

A stationary carrier sure makes an inviting target......

Just curious here.

Never, but I still don't think it is possible with the new patch, nor should it be. I only take off from moving CVs and it was difficult before...again look at some footage you can see Corsairs with drop tanks taking off from Essex class CVs (with wind of course) wheels off before crossing the bow.

Either add moving CVs to online maps or accept 50% tanks, it's not as if we fly very far online anyway.
