Hi Guys

Im strapped for cash at the moment so im thinking of getting a TrackIR 2 rather than the 3 or 4. Problem is I have a flatscreen monitor. My question is, does TIR 2 come with a support for such monitors?

Cheers

You dont need to worry about that, the problem is that they didnt come with brackets to fit on the top of those monitors. It's not any big deal, just figure out something to make it stay on top or even set it up on something else nearby and you'll be fine.

If I were you I would wait, save my cash and get a TIR4.

My TR2 came with bendable support legs that can be shaped to fit over the top of a flat screen. The alternative is it can sit on the desk under the monitor or on either side of the monitor and configured for position by the click of a button.

Mine has a bent rear leg like timholt said, angled down behind the screen. That and two small discreetly placed velcro strips on the other two legs mean it hasn't moved of its own volition in a couple of years.

By the way TIR2 has been great, never ever regretted getting it. However, when SOWBOB comes out I kinda think I'll be needing 6DOF so it'll be investment time again...

Wait.......and Track IR 4.

The difference between Track IR 2 and 4 is like a motor skooter and a motorcycle.
