I would like to edit some of the tracks (.TRK files)I have saved of my initial flying endevours...(I use the word "flying endevours" very loosely) but I feel it is to long to wait for the amusing parts (which actually at this stage of my IL-2 career is almost the whole track http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif )and would like to edit, cutout video ,or even dub in different audio. Also if it were in a different format like divX, avi, mpeg or something to this effect it could be viewed and even emailed to other people and it would be "Windows Compatiple" (sorry MAC users I forgot to mention .mov files). Also could you please tell me how to attach an avatar or .GIF to my post. I do not have my own web page or URL to link to and have these (GIFS & Avatars) of my own design. I have read the forum rules in this matter and understand I cannot post a 3ft x 5ft poster of me beside my infantry fighting vehicle as an avatar, or post a 40min video of my regiment on the MG range as a "moving GIF"....this is Major Catastrophe....signing OFF>>>>

The only way i know of editin the track within the game is to make a track of a track.

While u watch a track u can press quickrecord and this way extract a part from a longer track.

then u can ofcourse make a movie and edit it as u like. for that u need a recording tool like fraps 1.9 or 2.0

fraps1.9 is free and u can search it on google

but then u also need an editing program to cut and compress the film to a smaller format.

U can do it in windows moviemaker but get better results with a program like premiere ( costs a lot).

Maj_Catastrophe Try Photobucket.com for storing your files. It is free, they encourage links and it is easy to upload and view your files. I use it for mine.
The site gives you the url for your file below each picture to make it easy.
Just add your link to your Profile in My Space at the top of the main screen and add before it and after it (with no spaces).

like this example which would normally be my Avatar but with and before and after it becomes a sig or just a picture I wished to show.

good luck! there is a Sig test message you can try it out in.
