Hello Mr. Oleg,

I have just been thinking this issue: how will the game (AEP) handle the issue of subsonic and supersonic? Some historical records said the Me-163 got up to 1003.77km/h, while the Ho-229 was presumed to be able to reach 1000km/h. I am still saving my pocket money to buy the game, but could you please tell me roughly how the game will give response to subsonic and supersonic issues? When destructions occur? At what speed? Will the plane will stop vibrating violently when it reaches 1 Mach?

Thanks a lot!!!

PS: I promise I will turn off the "limited fuel" and start dropping my Me-163 from 10000 m to experience the accelerating falling and to see when the plane will break up! I am insane! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

Was curious about this last night myself, and so I tried it out.

In a relatively shallow dive I was able to get the Go-229 to 1070; this was at low altitude, under 1000m IIRC, actually. Surprisingly firm ride for that speed, so long as I kept it pointed in the same direction. As soon as I pulled back on the stick (and not even that hard) the plane's nose began to rise quickly enough that I was unable to stop it before blacking out; going to external view, I watched the plane fly in a massive loop before exploding in midair. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
