I was downed once in the 334 dedicated server I was in a b-17 so about five guys from the other side of the world dd it together .
Otherise I downed myself the first 5 times.
I might add the other times I was in the d0-335, one of the late spits and a la-7.So who wants to kill me tonight?I also flew a a6m5c zero for a bit but I was totaly out flown just in speed.

slo_1_2_3, make sure you get teamspeak. Most of the servers have a public channel. Your survival time will increase tenfold if you have a couple mates to cover your online-virgin six!

That's the thing about most Japanese fighters: Not only are they made of ricepapermache Elmer-glued to a balsa wood frame, they are powered by two very tired hamsters on a running wheel.

They are maneuverable, but slow. When I see them I just fly away laughing. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I thought it was there to talk trash to your mates before actually entering the game???

Was I wrong?

slo, maybe I missed it, but in real life a combat pilot turned in an "after action report". Unless I missed it, I haven't seen one.

"Sgt. Slo, I expect an after action report on my desk ASAP!"

Hope you had a good time. First month I was on-line I wasn't anything but a moving target, and an easy one at that. You can catch me on-line as 4H_V-man. I usually fly "full switch", or very near to it. Most nights some friends and I do co-ops, but I can be found on Zekes v. Wildcats, Pacific Conflict, Winds of War, or Pacific War. Catch me on sometime, I'd be glad to wing with you. You do have Team Speak, don't you? If not, get it. You will learn tons just by listening to some of the guys working together.

By the way, you don't have to spend a fortune for a set-up for Team Speak. I use a a headphone-boom mic combo by Logitech you can buy at Walmart for ten dollars.
