View Full Version : A question about U-boot Realsimulation...

Needless to say I am as hacked off as the rest of you about the site being hacked, that being said does anyone have any idea when they might be back? I have been gathering mods from various locations and this attack on one of my favorite sources got me to thinking about how
to back up the mods I have now. Do you have to decompress zipped files
before you copy them to a cd or can you send the zipped file to the cd and unzip it during install? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
Can anyone here post a link to the general mod section of
realsimulation? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif And finally I hope that when the site is back up that they can prevent this from reoccurring.

There are programs that you can download and use to create your own .exe applications. Doing so will allow you to install compressed files much like how patches and other installion-type packages work.

I haven't done it myself, but you can Google for the software to create .exe files, then so what you wish with them.

As far as the uboat.realsimulation issue, there's no workaround. I have the downloads section in my "Favorites" folder, but it re-directs me back to that God forsaken hack page. Try subsim to see if they have anything that you're looking for:

Subsim.com (http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files/patches2005.html)
