Lol, sorry about the newsflash style naming, but this is really bothering me. I started my first career in SH3 today, admired the crowd waving goodbye, then headed out. After a few time excels. and more than an hours worth of admiring my boat from the free camera, i decided to hit the sack. Except in my small, cool Type II, i cant get into the captains bed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif. Anyone else noticed this?

Well i felt like relaxing a little while i ate dinner. Sounds risky leaving a crew that has no control over the ship alone for 15 minutes, but hey its my first mission, im alloud to slack :P

Maybe it's a hint form high command to lay off the pastries? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Maybe they think the captian of a boat that small doesn't need to sleep.

OK - this is the second time I've seen someone post about seeing crowds at the docks wen leaving - does this happen only ni certain ports or something? I've done 3 missions out of Kiel and there's never anybody there http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Is it time of day related? I've been leaving at dusk or late evening each time, so maybe everybody has gone home to eat dinner or something? I want my fan club to see me off!! How do I get these people to come to the docks? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/354.gif

Hmm, i departed from Whil... um, cant remember how its spelt lol. Its the 1st flotillas homebase at the earliest star time. Its was 2:00am lol, they stayed up late to watch me leave, how kind of them (and throwing flowers into the sea, how romantic http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif). It might be habour related, not sure. (theres also music and cheering and clapping, its really cool)

Panthercules, try transfering to Wilhelmshave, the crowd will be there. There is a crowd in Kiel to, but they are located at a dock to the west of the subpens you start at.

There are no crowds in subpens -- just at docks.
