Oleg or somebody of his team send any kind of indication of the type of video card or CPU who is capable to deal with SOW:BoB ( like a 9800 GX2 or Intel quad extreme edition with 4Gig RAM?)

If Oleg knows the specs yet,he is not saying!

About six months ago they hoped to have a better understanding on the spec's required in the summer of 08. Currently they are in the alpha stage, adding features, so they probably won't have a good feel for the specs until they are fine tuning the Beta code. I suppose it could possibly still be late this summer.

Its best to wait, unless you want to upgrade for other games, then try to build a system that can be easily upgraded.

i've started saving for it lol

No. Sometimes I feel tempted by one of the next gen games, but I´m going to resist until SOW has been released and checked performance-wise.

For a rough estimation, I *think* Oleg said somewhere that the system needed to play IL2 46 on perfect settings smoothly will run BOB on lowest.

Hmmmm, so he is saying that maybe needed a 8800 Gt minimum...
I give up , impossible to guess right now.

I built a new computer for BOB WOV in December of 2006. I got a 6600 running at 3.4ghz and 8800gt sli and 4 gigs of ram. Runs Il2,FS4 and FSX very well and should run WOV, when it comes out, for a while. Since I don't upgrade but put a new high end machine together every 3 years, I wil just built a quad-core machine in about 18 months. Just in time again for BOB WOV http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif. I budget $600 per year on computers and am able to almost always run the latest games and simulators. Buy now and enjoy it right away. This hobby of ours will have you owning obsolete equipment at some time, nothing to be done about it.
