Ok WTF! beginning of memory block 7. you exit the animus after fighting for the piece of eden, there is a conversation and Lucy and Vidic leave the room. The only thing I can do is go into the conference room and read the email on the computer there. That's it. No going to bed or any other interaction propmts. Nobody comes back and nothing happens. Am I blind or is there another glitch at work here?

If thats the end of the game, which I think it is. Use eagle vison. Look around. Wait for the credits.

Yeah, I spent about half an hour messing around in there before I figured it out. Well actually I never figured it out - I had to look on the forums to find the solution. As McMasterJ says, use EagleVision and you'll soon get to the end of the game. Not that you're likely to understand a whole lot of what you see (I didn't understand any of it), but it is kinda cool.

Let me put it into Simple Form ...

Go into ure bedroom...
Use Eagle Vision

Desmond will say some jibberish (i never listed to a word he said http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif )
then u will Zoom into the Lungs/Heart looking picture in the middle and Boring Credits we go!

Thanks for the help everyone, and yep, that's a stupid ending alright! I have no problem with cliffhangers, but I think the audience deserves an ending and not just an awkward cessation of the gameplay where Desmond comes off as clueless and unmotivated. apparently he's just gonna sit there on his *** and wait for Lucy to save him.

Hack into the laptops to get more info, after that your opinion of the end may change. Alot of info is given, some of it just has to be figured out. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I didn't expect the story to be this deep in assassin's creed. It's amazing.

What jcody said.
Just because the playable Alta´r story ends doesn't mean 'the story ends'. You'll have to look deeper into the story, deeper into it's meaning. Find out what the scriblings on the wall mean. They're signs for the future.

Also, as jcody said before, log on to the computers and read the e-mails. Find out about all the accidents, about the different artefacts, the bleeding effect and Leila Marino.

Remember that nothing is true, and everything is permitted.

Yup, that's what I thought too. He certainly doesn't seem to me like the sort of guy who's going to be able to take on the Templars singlehandedly. He seems a bit too passive.

I'm closing this thread, because it became something completely different than originally intended and it's been resurrected after one year of peaceful sleep.

Since this is a gameplay question, if anyone will need assistance with this issue, they can use the hints and tips forum (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/9011039408).
