I was playing online last night and was doing horrible!!!!!! Mostly because of that damned vulcher... but anyway, i started fling a yak 9. i was shot down and couldnt bail (low altitudes) but on the inevitable "crash" part i actually bounced like a rubber ball. My plane then bounced again to about 100-200 yards up where my pilot could bail and float safely to the ground. Any thought on this one time event????

Might be a good case file for Molder and Scully. Also depending on which side of the border you crashed then PSI might get the case.

This happened to me before. I bounced, was able to level out and keep flying. I had it happen in P-40s, P-47s, Yaks, but never in any German plane.

One time I had to bail out at low altitude and the plane hit the ground and bounced back up.

Before I could deploy my 'chute I had actually landed back in the cockpit and was able to regain full control of my aircraft. It was very windy without the canopy and the resulting drag really slowed my aircraft down.

Wierd, Huh?

I chalked it all up to off-line lag.
