The uncertainty of the release date is fast becoming a farce, as is this site in general.

No updates, contant speculation and now 3 different revised release dates.

Just what is going on?

I counted 4 different relaese dates (my be wrong).
but anyway, you're right, that is a farce on behalf of some people here in the forum...

to be quite honest...ubisoft does not have to tell you anything. So all they tell you is what they want to tell you.
That release date mess started with some people spreading rumors about a postponing of the release...

I don't know whether the release will be postponed or not (dropped my crystal ball), but I know, that if it is postponed, there is a good reason to do so. (as a postponing a product costs ubisofts money).

just my $.02

Maybe we should make a note of all the people who post these whiny threads about a possible delay, then at Christmas, we can send each of them a huge cross so that they can nail themselves to it.

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif Beery, you just branded half the board there as whiners. Surely you don't want to add that to the offensive comments you make towards Americans. And why would we want to recreate Jesus' suffering and death when we should be celebrating his birth? Easter is the time to celebrate his death. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

That's a rather wide brush you're painting with, isn't it? Why do you assume "we" are all of the Christian faith?

Why not? all the dry humour used here becomes fully understable if you're cristian. Is a cultural/cultual fact.

Beeryus I can only imagine you€re living in a box, away go back into it mate€¦ http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif you€re the one that€s whiny your in every one of these threads and your out numbered and out witted in them all.

Does the saying €œnot a leg to stand on€ mean anything. It€s the same tired out answers you use, your as useless as a broken pencil €œpointless€

I personally love your posts with no content of the game on this forum; I can only hope new fans to the game don€t come here as it€s of little value.

I would better say that it is assumed that you've grown in a Christian culture. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If you cared to notice, I was referring to Beeryus' post, which mentioned Christmas and a cross. This was referring to Jesus. Do you know any other religious leaders who have been born on Christmas and died on the cross?
The posters on this forum generally come from European or American countries, and so the majority here will be Christians. Now I don't see what you have against the Christian faith, but I am teribly sorry for referring to my own faith.

?

Neither do I...

I only pointed out what seemed to be an assumption on your behalf.

Well, it can't be described as an assumption since I was referring to Beeryus' post.
You seemed to be against me mentioning my own faith, and thus I was afraid you may have had some problems with it. I stand corrected.

What's the point of talking about mere superstitions...Better talking how to get free from them.
Well, its everyone's choice after all.

If the shoe fits. Actually I'd say that a very small minority is kicking up a big stink about a minor issue. I think most forum members are as annoyed as I am about the spamming and whining that's going on. Most people have patience enough, and are mature enough to know that no amount of news or updates will alter the date that the game actually ships, and worrying about it just makes the time seem to go slower. As for me, the time is flying by because I'm not concerned about the wait.

quote:
Surely you don't want to add that to the offensive comments you make towards Americans.

What offensive comments? Show me one. I've characterized what I see as problems that some americans have. I'm not sure why you would want to mischaracterize my arguments or drag them into this thread. Looks like character assassination for the sake of it to me.

If you haven't alrady noticed, the board is plastered with those who don't like the no news situation we are in, and many other people are agreeing. I would say there is a good chance that half the people here are against such things.

Your comments on Americans does have relevance here, becuase you are turning people against you, just like in the other dreaded topic. Anyway, you have brought up unwanted topics into other threads as well, remember the WW2 wasnt as dangerous as its made out to be argument you made? You brought that over to the Your Favourite UFO thread.

And what's your obsession with the word character asassination? Just like ad homineum attacks, you use it at every opportunity you can. You brand a lot of people with this derogatory remark.

I know, its meant to be a model, but I think whoever modelled him should have put him in a natural pose instead of being stiff. How the hell did they stick a pipe in his mouth if he was dead?! Anyway, at least this avatar seems to work properly so I'm not going to tempt fate and change it.
