I have not run the patch and the game seems great, apart from minor problems - I have the ATI 9200 graphics glitch, but it is bearable, and I cannot use the 'clear map' button on the navigation screen. Is it worth patching to 1.1? Will it cause more problems than it's worth? Thanks

Works great for me... however if you do patch... afterwards go into your saved career and save it again immediately as soon as it loads up... problems have been seen if you dont do the save first and just launch into a patrol... by saving it seems to stop these problems.

Patchs are made to correct bugs and performance problems not to add problems. However, sometimes bugs are introduced in patchs but, they always get fixed in the next one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It's always worth to patch a software to the lastest version. All in all you can always consult the "history list" for all the patch changes if you want to patch ONLY for a specific reason...

I usually create a restore point on my computer using system tools (windows XP) before installing a program or patch. That way if I don't like it I just restore. This patch 1.1 seems to be a good one and I can see no reason not to install it. It's worth it just to get rid of the binoc and UZO white out. The help menus with the F1 key are also good.
