Any suggestions on the best slider setting for my X52 joystick? I saw a post some time ago with great settings that almost eliminated stalls yet gave great control. Unfortunately I had to reinstall 1946 and did not keep a record of my settings (:.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are 2 utilities that can help.

1 is 'IL sticks'
2 the other is 'IL joy control'

You can adjust the sensitivity of the sliders and more with either of these 2.

You can put the trim controls right on your X-52 and adjust those from either of the utilities.

I prefer IL2 Joycontrol but IL2 stick is good as well. Either will suit your need.

use il sticks or joy control...

I only use the sliders and wheels for trim so I have a bit of a dead zone in the middle and a slow wind up to 100.. That was I have finer control where I need it..

Pappy sorry to hear that your Saitek experience has sucked. I ran with my first gen Saitek from release to the day that my pro was delivered.
I know that Saitek users fall into two camps.

Experience == good
Experience == suck

I have to say for me it has been generally pretty good..

You might want to check your registery

change that to a 0 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Seriously though, if I was having as bad of a time with mine I would have drop kicked it off of something tall by now and mailed the mangled remains back to them with a big f-u letter.

But the new pro probably already has 1000+ hours of me having no life on it and is working flawless.

Granted, is it just me or does the precision on them kind of suck no matter what?

I think the problem with Saitek precision is that bloody weird system they have on their sticks... Their 'Precision Centering Mechanism' should be renamed to 'Frustration Enhancer Unit.' I prefer Microsoft's centering mechanism...

I'm at work and cannot watch the video but that post wasn't very helpful pappy. I heard you ran into an issue with saitek and their support (didn't catch the details) but you must understand that it is a rarity to have trouble with saitek support, they are usually incredibly good. Did you try getting support from thier forums?

To Baylormax, try all 100% for pitch and roll, that did it for me.
