I bought Il2-FB about 6 months ago, it was on budget so there wasnt a manual only pdf files. Never been able to play the game due to my joystick. It is old logitech problem with the slight banking to the right. I still have the logitech extreme 3d pro, i need to buy another joystick, which is a bit difficult because all i can find in my area are logitech sticks.
Till i find a better one i have to do it with this one and there is a thing i really dont like and that is the rudder twist.

When i go to the hotas options there is the rudder, it is binded to the z axis rotation. I want to clear that but dont know how to delete it.
I looked in the pdf file and checked the sticky which directed me to a wiki site, in both cases i couldnt find the solution.
Anyone got an idea how to delete it?

Just asign an other axis to the rudder in the HOTAS section, one you use for elevator for example and then asign the axis back to the one you used so the rudder axis will be cleared

Try this..
Click on rudder option and move the stick in X or Y.
It'll say that this is currently in use, but accept it anyway. Do this again to make sure the Z-axis thingy dissapears.
Now go back to X or Y and click on this and select the control you've just placed in the rudder option. confirm that you want to use this.

The rudder option should now be blank and X or Y back to normal.

When I used Logitech with this twisty thing I just applied all 000000000000000 to the rudder.
Open game ,then hardware options then input then rudder settings. Rudder twist never bother me again since http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
