Hi All,

I hope I'm in the right place here. I am thinking about buying IL2:1946. However I have only seen it for sale with all the other games in it at a price of over 50 Euro. Given the fact that I all ready own IL2:FB IL2:Ace and PF and I'm a poor student, I was a bit bit miffed that it was not been released on it own! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

That said I am still considering buying the game, or I was before I came here........I'm now total confuised(spl?) by what I have seen. Does the boxed retail version of IL2:1946 come with IL2:PE2 and that other one about Manchouria(spl?) aswell?

I was also woundering if you could give me a full list of flyble aircraft in '46?

Come on lads, push me to buy the game! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You can actually get the 1946 addon by itself in download form. You may have noticed some threads complaining about boonty box.

But I'd still suggest getting the DVD, if for no other reason than it's easier to install. The boxed 1946 comes with every IL-2 product and installs in one easy step.

50 Euros is too high, though. Surely there must be somewhere you can order for less.

So what planes can I fly in '46?

Ecto, the series is progressive so any disc release has to have them all to work for
whoever buys it. We paid so much all these years (violins in the background) is still
a more than fair deal to have what we had all this time, don't you agree?

People are raving about how much better the planes are, the big reason to buy is the
new input handling. That is the cake worth more than the icing. Extra planes are the
frosting decorations.

Just to confirm, all of those planes are in the boxed retail version on IL2:1946?

I will buy the game at some stage, might be awhile though as I'll wait for a little price drop and the fact the I steped on my joystick the other day! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
