Most everyone here knows full well about the accomplishments and sacrifices that the "Tuskegee Airmen" pilots and crewmen contributed to Allied success in WWII. The U.S. Congress is finally getting around to honoring them after all these years with the Congressional Gold Medal today at the U.S. Capitol.

I made that using the sim. It is based on the official TAI logo..
that's why I had to put the copyright & registered logos on it.

I went to the WWII weekend one year and I saw the logo that the Philadelphia chapter of TAI uses. It had a green P-40 in it.. just a small 2D sticker actually.... and on my way home I got the notion to try to do that with the sim. Before that all I had been doing was skinning. I took several screenshots.... and made the skins.. put it all together. Even the clouds are from FB.

Thats one of the reasons why I just like this sim so much. It isn't just the simming. This sim has really opened up a lot of other things for me.
