The title says it all....
I for one would like to see something from the far east such as China or Japan. Nothing too early seeing as most if not all of the free running we all know and love would would be drastically reduced seeing as the communities were mostly just small villages...

Topics closed so let's start here. At the end Shaun mentioned that the Phrygian Cap and the Masonic Eye were located in one place. For those of you not big on history or politics that one place is the "Declaration of the Rights of the Citizen and the Man." It was inspired by the American Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights, written during the French Revolution in 1791 by the Marquis de Lafayette (a French hero of the American War for Independence) with Thomas Jefferson (Third President of the United States and author of the Declaration of Independence) as correspondence. That means three things:

1) The game is set in France during the French Revolution. That time period was one of turmoil, chaos, and assassinations left and right. It was gruesome and terrible. Seems like a nice place for a vacation.

2) The game is set during the Age of Enlightenment when freedom and free-thinking were prominent. That would put the time period somewhere between 1700-1815. My guess would be Spain during Napoleon's time. For some reason out of all the nations Napoleon conquered and broke (Italy, Egypt, Russia, etc...) Spain was the only one he never managed to assume full control in. Strange...

3) The game is set somewhere in the America's. This is my least favored and least likely theory but between Le Marquis, Jefferson, and the French Revolution being inspired by the War for Independence the possibility is still likely.
