Press F to engage the evnet, you must not be too far or too close from the man when you engage it. Then wait until the target moves. Follow him with his back facing you and KEEP pressing the button '' shift'' now you'll see Altair's hand stretching out towards the man's pockets when you're done Altair will return to his normal state. Hope you can success !! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Precision and speed mate, it's the easiest way to a successful pickpocket, do it as if it were you.
See your target, regard his surroundings, direction and how suspicious of you he is, then pass behind him as one of the croud and press and hold the open-hand key, you'll have the item in no time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've found wiggling the mouse just a bit will help you make the grab.

now where spook do you find a mouse in a city? i could hardly see any stones that guards end up lobbing at me and you're talking mice. the only thing besides humanity is pigeons.

I've never found pickpocketing particularly difficult...well, except for this one time when I started off in the guy's way in an enclosed area where the only exit was guarded...

But yeah. I stand behind 'em, wait for them to start moving, and then I do it. It never takes long; usually they've only managed to go a few steps.
