Looks like a SpitXIV or XXII?

The author says it's something like "Ace Spitfire", but I can't seem to find any mention of this on the web.

The poster of the video said this -

My Spitfire demonstration for Fighter Ace.

Therefore search for fighter ace = this -

Rocket science! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Says: "My Spirtfire demonstration for Fighter Ace http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif"

Ignoring his spelling ability, Google reveals:

It's from "Fighter Ace" an online pay to play flight sim... Even says what game it's from in the description of the video...

Ugh, $15 bucks a month for that funky looking Spitfire? I thought they were ugly to begin with, but dayum!

hopefully it won't sound like a crook two-stroke Victor lawn mower like the spits do in this game! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/touche.gif

damn.....wrong emoticon thing!!!!

The sim can only give you sound with what you have. Mobo sound and 2 cheap desktop speakers will do that.

Also, at the bottom of your post, there are three icons at the bottom right. The middle one will allow you to edit or delete your post.

So a plane that looks like a stubbed-out cigar is a thing of beauty, I take it? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Depends on what you like, I guess.

Fighter ace 3 can be played for free for a short time and includes drivable vehicles mannable gun batteries etc.. But, does not look anything near as good as even CFS which looks like you know what compared to IL-2 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif

Just for grins I downloaded this "sim" (and I use the term loosely), and tried out the free trial. Lets just say I would have to be drunk, stoned, and never heard of IL2 to even consider paying a fee to play it.

nudibranch is indeed a seaslug, very pretty little suckers of the sea they are too!

And you are indeed right, no "e" on the end, the redundant "e" is the result of me creating a yahoo account about ten years ago, but someone had already grabbed "nudbranchs", so I created "nudibranches".

A lot of people do like the name, on account of the naughty tree syndrome.

welcome to hell - nakedtreeslug!

A nice nudi if I ever saw one. I used to dive around Sydney a lot, and a friend of mine, a mad Hungarian photographer, became obssessed with nudibranchs.

We would spend literally hours scouring the reefs around Sydney looking for them, blasting the living daylights out of them with his two strobes.

I guess it goes to show that if you pursue something no one else can be bothered with, or sees the merit, you have a good chance of success. He discovered an entirely new syngnathid, the hapless creature is now named the Akos Lumnitzer pipehorse. As good a reason as any to remain undiscovered I suspect.

Heywoood, thanks for the welcome! Actually, this site is quite docile compared to some of the diving sites I've been on! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
