Why do you let someone else mandate what you do with your money? Buy it.

i got a bunch of the 21rst century 1:18 stuff. you just can't beat the quality for the price...the p-38 is really breathtaking to say the least with the corsair rite behind it.

and they make great gifts too - i just gave a neighbor's son of of my stuka's, really made his day.

just say it's your b-day gift and get one, or two, or three...

Hey Chris-

I've got Don Gentile's P-47 'Donnie Boy' http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I also have two P-40s, one RT Smith's White 47, 3rd Squadron AVG, and a USAAC P-40B

The P-47 is better than the P-40s, although all the figures are the same make

There's a Zero out now, as well as the F4U. A 1/18th F-86 and F-104 are also available

But most of all, I'm after John C Meyer's P-51. I'd like to have more, but the trouble is...where do I put them? They're flipping HUGE!

I have this one perched upon my 19" CRT at home. Its HUUUUGE. I like it. I saw the actual machine the paint job was patterned on at a small airshow in CT last june. I was pondering a FW-190D9 to go with it, but I'd have a hard time hanging them from the ceiling. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Here's a pic:

I wish BBI would make more models... their quality is excellent http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

From BBI i have Corsair, Mustang and 2 Zeroes
From Century ... P-47, SpitV, Stuka, P-38L, Dora, Emil and Gustav

Hoping that someone will model FW190A and some soviet birds http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Huh?? Look at the thickness of the main landing gear tires!! They are WAY too thin. They should be least twice as thick. Tsk tsk! It stands out like a sore thumb and I'm almost legally blind!

and whats going on with the left rear horizontal stabilizer/elevator?...oh my.

this scale allows for one other detail that is sorely lacking...where is the engine detail?...no electrical? should be some wiring to the plugs in there, no?

Agree...bi shuold make more models, but i think they will. The Corsair is a new one. i saw that Zeros have detachable cockpit...awesome!But here where a live there isnt the Pearl Harbor version.Only the green one.But its awesome too!

Can a 21th century collector post some pics of those models? just to compare with bbi.
