I read a book several decades ago. British Tanker was in one of these during North Africa, called em "Honey Tanks" because compared to the British models, they were a honey of a tank. Loved the radio in them most of all, quite reliable. They also like the speed. But the gun was weak as was the armor.

The author's unit was all but wiped out by German antitank gunner's who popped up right on their 6 after a wind storm. Loved that book, can't remember the title though.. Gettin' old sucks.
