Saw this seaplane at work today.Took a pair of pictures with my cellphone camera, hence the low quality.Do you know what it is cause I don´t?
Just curious.Look almost homebuilt, like an ultralight one.

I want to say it looks like a Piper for some reason... I think I know what kind it is, but I've forgotten the name. Gah!

Awesome buzz. I've been eyeing this plane for a while now. But it was only in the event that I would only need a plane for lazy sunday flying. I saw one fly once and was totally amazed at how fast this thing got off the ground.

I'm planning to move quite a ways away from my parents and extended family so a cross country family rocket ship is more what I need. I'm looking at a Cozy Mk IV now.

Hey Buzzsaw!

How the h*ll are ya?

Thats pretty cool buzzsaw. I had considered the RV line, but the Cozy Mk IV will come in for less $$$ and has 4 seats.

Altough I will have to accumulate some 250 hours before being allowed to fly the Cozy...Transports Canada rule. So I might go RV or Zenith Zodiac for a bit before that.

I'm an aircraft mechanic if thats worth anything http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I was in my second year of college when I started looking at the different kits available.

I talked to one of my teachers who had built quite a few different homebuilts - BD-5 with a Honda engine, Zenith Zodiac, RV-6, even an all composite amphib which I dont remember the type.

I basically told him that I liked to fly in planes with a lot of visibility and right off the bat recommended a Zodiac. So I might go that route for my first.

Being a family man now, I'm looking at 4 seat aircraft for family trips. I dont think I could coax the wife into learning to pilot and fly formation with me in another 2 seater... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Without aircraft mechanics there wouldn't be any pilots! and you know it! what do you meen worth? I've worked on a lot of aircraft in my time, but could never sign them off, thats why I'm buiding an LSA. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

If I could do it over again, I would get my ap, or is it called ae now? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif never did know the difference.

You either have it or you dont http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

The people I find strange are the ones that cant tell a MiG-29 apart from a Su-27. In my mind its always been clear, and often give these people the "whats the matter with you?!?" look.

General... Not sure I understand your guestion.

But you spend enough time with and around them, and it's just like cars, after while you just know! but you can never know all of them, new designs come out every year,... Just like cars! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
