View Full Version : Having trouble with a view point in Acre (Middle District)

This is embarrassing and frustrating, but...

I'm in in Acre (the Middle District) in Memory Block 5.

There's a view point I just can't find a way to reach and it's driving me nuts. No, it's not the lighthouse one. I've looked at all sorts of guides and FAQs and they all say "the rest of the viewpoints [besides the lighthouse] are easy" so I feel really dumb.

But it's a lone castle-type tower -- the southwesternmost viewpoint in the middle district, just east of the point in Acre where all three district borders meet. There are two guards standing in front of it. They don't give me any trouble though.

The problem is that apart from the front door rim -- which is not high enough to move on to the next climbing point -- there are no grab points whatsoever below about 20 feet up the side.

Furthermore, it's isolated in a square, and you can't jump to any of the grab points from any of the surrounding buildings. There's one building (with scaffolding on it) where you can *almost* make it but not quite.

I wasted about two hours of my life trying to figure out how to get to out of sheer OCD persistence but I finally had to give up. Can anyone tell me how to get up there?

BTW, just in case there are differences between platforms I'm not aware of, this is on the PS3 version.

Thanks in advance!

distract the two guards at the front (preferribly by killing them,) then its just a climb to the top from that front entrance where the two guards stood

Dont know if this is 12 years too late but I just started this game. There's a scaffolding to the left of that courtyard with a haystack on the bottom of it. Climb the scaffolding then climb the castle walls and grab a stub.
