Thanks Oleg for your excellent support for this Sim. There is no equal.

For the many negative comments on these Forums about how "this doesn't work and thats not right" I'm sure the silent majority are ever thankful.
Post here to show Oleg that the majority of us love this Sim and give thanks to his continuing support.

Yes, I was about to post a thanks post not only to Oleg, but to Luthier also. It is the weekend and I believe that there is some holiday somewhere. Luthier has answered a heck of alot of questions and even come up with some of his own I think. He has spent alot of hours assisting people with their problems and has been very professional in his dealings with all, without showing any personal feelings either way toward the individuals in the community. I know Luthier has copped a bit in the past during the early days of PF from a few of the community, but his effort lately deserves a very big thankyou from all of the community. I take my hat off to the man (now if only for a smiley icon taking his hat off) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif If you squint real hard at this one, it looks a bit like he is taking his cap off allbeit rather fast.

I am not here to bag the addon, but I have not DL'd it yet and have chosen to wait for something to be sorted out with the issues. I do plan on getting it as soon as is practibly possible and I would mail Oleg and his crew a cheque if that is what it takes to get the addons in a simple efficient way. I am the last person that wants to see them suffer as a result of somebody elses decision on release method.

Thanks again to all actively in developing this great sim http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

Very nice.

First the ZIS-5 AA truck gets it's rightful spot in the "Artilley" section of FMB, and now we get the Pe-2 as flyable.

I will overlook that due to a typographical error it was the Pe-2, not the Po-2, that got the cockpit.

Congrats on yet another stunning addtion to the series.

Thanks for working out the release of the addons for everyone!

04-29-2006, 10:22 PM
I will be better able to say in one week. Hey the release came right after I paid my bills
and rent, the timing is what it is. Hopefully all the wrinkles get ironed out and we all have
smoother flying next addon download.

Is it possible for UBI to get the addons published on the CD of a rag like PCGamer since it
is the activation and key where the money comes isn't it? It could pick up extra sales.

Just a thought, my best thank you is hope all 1C to do well, better than now with less hours
lost sleep as well.

Thanks for the new add-on, and for listening to the requests for the "russian only add-on" to be made available to the Western market.

After install, I uninstalled Bootybox, and put back the 4.04 exe's. It runs now as before, nice.

05-03-2006, 05:13 PM
More Thank You, my order is No. 81463.

What I want to know is did they start with #1 and count up by 1's?
That would be nice!

This game had me hooked when I saw it included the Brewster and P-39! (Thank God, not another P-51/109/Spitfire sim!) And the MiGs, LaGGs, and all those other 'Forgotten' birds. And it's only gotten better since! Can you think of any other sim with the variety of aircraft? OMG! You've got a flyable Mistel! And when's the last time you saw a He111Z/Gigant combo? Or the Gladiator? Add that to better flight models, graphics, and you've got the best there's ever been! Thanks a million Oleg! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif
(Of course, I'm still missing my DXXI, B26, D520, XP-72, F2G... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif)

A big thank you to Oleg and his team for the amazing support they're giving the IL2 series. I've never seen support this good for any game before and it's really great to see.

After having FB 1.22 for a while I've just bought the Complete Edition DVD and I think I'll get Pe-2 in the near future as well.

Keep up the great work Oleg.

Thanks again!

PS: Could you make me a patch to make me invincible online? lol

Cheers, Oleg and Luthier.
Like many others, I wasn't super impressed with PF (don't like the maps)but with the PE-2 add-on and his support and reasonableness, Luthier deserves thanks. The up-coming add-ons look really interesting, too.
Thanks a million, guys.

I'm happy to take this opportunity to thank Oleg, Luthier and all the team for bringing me and my friends such a lot of pleasure over the last years - right from puzzling how to get a Sturmovik into the air in the sim of that name.

You're the best!

Thanks to Oleg and the team at Maddox Games for supporting this sim for much longer than any of us could have wished for. When the original IL2 was released we could never imagined how much this sim would grow. While it does have its issue it is overall the best WWII sim ever released.
