I posted this in the News section of my site, but I'm just going to copy and paste it over here, because I don't feel like writing a whole other explanation for this:

Deep down inside we all miss the games of yesterday. These were the games that revolutionized their genres and were pure classics. That's why on the 15th of each month we plan to reflect back on the games that started it all with our new segment simply called, "Memorable Classics". Each month, we'll tell you why the game was such a classic, give you some old-timer screenshots and info, and even tell you where you can still either buy the game or legally download it if you've still got a hankering for some classic fun. So stay tuned as our first addition to our Memorable Classics series kicks off in two days with the original Grand Theft Auto.

So that's the whole idea, and as such, I updated the site today with the editorial:

Opinions and comments are welcome.

A very good idea
I myself miss the games we used to play, on the SNES and N64/PSX mainly.

We've seen awesome games passing by, Like Goldeneye 007, The donkey kong franchise, Mario kart games.. all of them were definite classics

Anyway, Yes I like the idea - I'll be watching http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

you should post here every time you do this.

Also, my ideas: Mario 3 and Zelda: Ocorina of Time (would love to see this one).

Hmm PC games you say let me see. I would not be an authority on that but if some of the old classics on the N64 were on there I would be game.

By the way very good read. You really do need to keep doing that here on this forum changes it up a bit.

I love the idea. A lot of people prefer old school/retros than the new stuff. I hope you can come up with enough of these games because i cant lol.
