It's not every day you get a dozen warbirds arriving at your work. The Commemerative Air Force flew into work with my squadron in preparation for the upcoming airshow season. We do a legacy flight demo at many airshows and have a hornet fly along with an old warbird. I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures. Here you go...

Very nice indeed. Have often wondered how they kept carrier a/c clean from the corrosive effects of salt water.

Cool! I guess that's the SoCal wing at CMA. I worked with them for a while in the mid 90's. . .very nice collection.

Thanks for the pics. When I was stationed at Ft. Sill, OK, we used to climb the ladder to the top of the balloon hanger (5 stories tall, where we kept our Hueys) and shoot the birds with a .22 cal. pellet gun.
