It's May, 1941. The seas were very rough. I was tracking a merchant for over two hours! My torpedo's were exhausted, so as a last resort, I decided to ram the merchant that I was hunting. Not the best stategy I'm sure, but I was desperate.

I said "goodbye" to my crew, and in a most awesome display of valor, I decided to ram the merchant at full speed.

Just then I heard the warning of..."aircraft approaching!"

So,I decided to run a course parallel to the merchant and just hope for the best!

My sub and the merchant were just a few meters away from each other. In fact, we made contact with each other quite a few times!

Well, to my surprise, the airplanes sunk the merchant...ohhh yeah!

That was sooo cool! This happenned at the beginning of the mission, so for the rest of the time my crew and I just went "silent."

I never got credit for the sinking, but I bet some fly guy will catch heck!

Sorry to bore you with this, but I just thought it was cool.

I seriously love this game!

I have a better one than that.

During a convoy battle i was chased by an
escort for ages and no matter what i did he
followed. In the end i was running out of battery and air and options.

Then the raf arrived and bombed the escort by
mistake http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif

This wasn't boring. I found it very entertaining. Although it was the British in the game bombing their own, this was usually an American air force type of thing. [Not slamming Americans, just making a historical observation.]

I hate when REALLY thick fog rolls in, and you often hit a Merchant because you can't see anything. I hit one once while in Time Compression and sunk it! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
Kind of damaged my sub, but I was on my way home anyways, no torpedoes left!

Maybe i'm to scared, or too wise, or both, BUT I have not had the pleasure of dueling with an A/C and ship at the same time.

Here I would submerge to ~50m and follow the ship until dusk, surface and gunnit. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif
