oil on cockpit

I was up against (if you can call it that) a H8K1 Large Sea Plane, I just wanted a track of shooting one of these to pieces, and very good it was too!

The main point and sorry if this has been covered, I got a P51D right up behind this thing and blasted the $ell out of it, pieces flying off it everywhere!

But one or two of there gunners got a few back at me , and splat oil all over the front and side panels of the cockpit I could see enough over it and was so close I couldn't miss anyway!

But when I had a look outside F2 , I panned around to the front of my ship and the cockpit was clean not even a spot of oil on it!

Is this being looked at or am I the first to say!

This has been noted since the early days (not a jab at you for mentioning it).
There is apparently no means of matching that in cockpit effect to the exterior texture maps.

Has any1 got oil on their windscreen in PF? I haven't and i have played quite alot now (although only online). Is this maybe correct for the PF planeset or is it just missing?

I was doing some low passes over the beaches and these tracers came at me from U-boats and AAA. Next thing I know is my wings look like swiss cheese and my windshield has holes in it! Then I looked around and saw more holes in the canopy and in the headrest of my seat. I thought to my slef," WOW!
