Hi all,

I'd be interested in hearing of your WW2 Aviation statistics.

Sounds perhaps dull but it opens a doorway to the human, social and economic cost of WW2. And perhaps also post-war strategy?

Suggestions may include aircrew losses, aircraft losses, tonnage of bombs dropped, development costs, training costs etc., etc.

A very broad topic IMO but I hope worthwhile.

If you can quote a source, all the better!

Best Regards,

Fourth largest Airforce in the world at the end of WW2 was the RAAF.

Not too many people are aware of this.

The total number of bombs dropped (not tonnage, number) proves that pizza is health food.
