How do you fix the strange graphic anomaly that shows up on forests and some other textures as strange lines radiating out in the shape of circles. I have seen this posted here before a while back.
I have AEP, running a 9600XT, using 4.2 Omega drivers in perfect mode.

any help would be appreciated.

Two ways to solve this problem:
1.) Do not play on perfect.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
2.) Try turning antialiasing on, this one helps in my case..

I had the same problem. Go to the ATI control panel and make sure that AA and AF are NOT set to Application preference.

Perfect now runs perfect for me.

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif There's no need to switch AF on.. It may stay on application preference. It is just depending on Antialiasing: 2x is enough.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Post a pic next time you get the problem. I am seeing some weird textures in FB when i am on a snowy map. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif The trees are all tiled together as one big tile, and not individual trees. Only when i am zoomed in at a certain angle and distance. Or when i am on the ground looking around, the forests which appear to be one big tile. Hard to explain http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif I will post a pic as well. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Goto your card setup (right click the desktop etc) and set bitmap compression OFF
Do all the above too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif except the AA AF parts - they ruin fps on most systems - turn it off first http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
