Argh, gonna have to wait until Sunday to play it. I'm currently in my good ol' homeland of Austria for ski holidays. :/ Oh well, got myself Bloodlines, gonna entertain myself with that until Sunday! xD

Does anyone know if the Carnival Cape is in this one or the first?
I have the first DLC so may just be being noobish but couldn't find the cape anywhere even though there was a screenshot in Forli where he had it on :-/

Because they used that character model. Same here, used Ezio without armor, even though you'll be using the one you already have http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

did you notice the cape it's kinda greenish-blue
is it the veteran (didn't play it in a while).

I've always thought the cape looked too bulky. Like Ezio is coving up a hunchback or something.

Grazie! You have really made my day.

As soon as I get back from Uni tomorrow, I'll be downloading this. It really does look like an awesome mission. If I they have the "special memory" again like in the first DLC, I'll probably spend more time on that rather than the actual mission tomorrow.

Cpt_Yanni
02-17-2010, 01:50 PM
Yeah, I hope they'll integrate the special memory in all the cities soon, especially Venice because they already have placed the fires there once for the mission...

Hmm, judging from the trailer, it seems like the "spring jump" depends on certain objects in the environment that function as, well, springs...

Really looking forward to this, too bad I'll have to wait until Sunday, as I'm currently on ski holidays.

the spring jump looks really unhuman like! But then again the camera angle could have something to do with that! Either way this DLC will still kick ace!

Cool, looking to pick it up when it releases. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Wow!! That looks great!

It definitely looks longer!
I just hope the spring jump can be used everywhere and not just in southern Firenze! I do agree it looks a bit superhuman but so does a lot of the other things in AC2! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I will totally download it tomorrow! Here is Aus, the PS3 store is updated on Fridays so yeah!

Yea, so I did an early morning run through of the Bonfire of the Vanities. Its definatly worth the buy, the assassinations require a great deal of strategy and luck.

However that is to say theres no draw backs, If it werent for me liking to understand what the words in Italian are and slapping the Subtitles on, I would have never noticed that the voices are a bit sparatic. They interupt eachother alot, also (not giving anything away) after you kill Savonarola, in the cut-scene following, theres no voice... None. Its all cut out. Hes yelling at the crowd (So says the Subtitles) But no voice.

Again, its Definitly worth the buy. I loved it. Its 2 hours outta your time. But Ubisoft really is lacking when it comes to bug checking.

I didnt even see the Download in the Marketplace, I went to Downloadable Content on the Game Screen.
Im not sure how the PSN does it, but maybe both systems havent gotten the update yet, so you gotta get it through other means.

UK PSN has just been updated. There are 2 options, "Seq 13 bonfire of the vanities" or "seq 13... and Templar secret locations" (costing about 5 and 3 respectively.)
The first one (which is what I'm getting) is about 1600MB, not sure about the other one.

Really wish my internet was faster (should be 4mb/sec I think, but it never is.)

Yeah, same here, but it worked again when I paused the game and unpaused it.
Too bad, it is a really cool cutscene ***spoiler*** [COLOR:WHITE]It was awsome when Ezie stabbed him in the throat, it was way more cinematic then the previous assassinations**spoiler**

I'm downloading and have a question. Are there other places to do the Spring Jump, or is it just the south of Florence?

Where the hell is it for Region 3???

pfft. Don't even talk to me about region 3. The PSN store there takes forever to update.
