Can someone please tell me how do I find this file? I have looked but to no avail. I know it is there. Thanks in advance.

[drive]:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Pacific Fighters

It is in that root.

Perhaps to see it you need to fire up the game once?

Thanks. Tried it, but no go. I installed Pacific with Forgotten Battles and the add on pack. Would that make a difference?

Try this: click on the START.
Select SEARCH. Choose "All files and folders" from screen. In the "All or part of the file name" box type conf.ini
then from "Look in" box select your hard drives (my are C: and D: ).

No I think there's no difference between IL2 and PF. You must have that file in the main (root) game folder.

Mine just says "conf". It's the same thing though.

Make a desktop icon shortcut to your "conf" file, you will need it. Make it use NotePad or some simple text editor.

If you have Windows set to "Hide extensions on known file types" the .ini extension wont show, it will be listed just as "conf". If you have your game folder view set for "details" it will be listed as a file type "Configuration Settings".

The easiest way I've found is with notepad.

And don't forget to back it up before you mess with it!
