Hi all, just bought SH3, seems to be a great game so far, just finished naval academy training and venturing out of port on my 1st mission. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on tactics, or just general log postings for game and forums, thanks all in advance.

Welcome Darryl http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Good tips .....well close all outer doors before diving.
Dont load the torpedo's with the prop first.

And very importand the seafloor does more damage than the depthcharges.

Take time to sleep and eat ...maybe work but thats up to you http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Enjoy the game m8

Welcome aboard,mate.
Don't forget to open your tube doors before firing.
It can be the diference between a http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif when you hit the ship or a http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif when you miss because of closed doors.
And watch out for those @$*G pesky DD's.

Welcome abord. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif Early war depthcharges can only go to about 200m, SO GO DEEP. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif Watch out for mines. PT boats never shoot there torps(well not that we know of)so dont be afraide to shoot one back. Get radar(the second one) and radar dectors as soon as posible they will make a diffrince between life or death and ships sunk or not sunk. And maby if your lucky U could join the eliet 100K club. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Agian welcome abord and eventualy u will get as hooked as the rest of us. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Welcome to the forum buddy!

1 - Be sure to open your tubes fist before firing the fish...

2 - Attacking at dark will give up better results...
