Hi all. Apparently some new photographic evidence has emerged, according to the blurb. You have around 5 minutes lol (just found out myself, 8.00Pm GMT start)

No idea what it will be like, thought I'd let you know anyway. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the heads-up. It was bunch of rehashed cobblers though, patched together from clips I'd seen many a time before. After I'd heard for the 5th or 6th time that the Channel was only twenty miles across I gave up on it.

It is on youtube, in 5 parts. The film was broadcast in America on the History channel some time ago. Judge for yourself.

Yes, agreed Brando it was pretty much rubbish. The reference to a Spit MkI blowing up a foe with cannons was hilarious too, as well as the Hurricane being referred to as 'one of the worlds most technologically advanced fighting machines'. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

@Waldo, yes it figures, and no surprise after having watched it lol. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

In mitigation though I have to confess I did not know about the 'black sand' technique used to simulate hedgerows/disguise airfields and spoof the recce flights, so it was not a complete loss from my end. Quite ingenious and effective actually, you can see how it sometimes fooled them. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
