When I fly the Hurricane in Campaign I sometimes get a bombing mission... I look at my available bombs. The 250lb bombs or the FAB-100...hmmm.... er...

What do they do exactly? What is the Fab better at than the 250Lb? Does one do more damage than the other? Destroy certain targets better than others? Heavier or lighter? etc, etc.

1.It would be nice if we had some information explaining what certain optional weapon-type are meant for, a simple ground crew explanation would do ie, "Pilot, this`ll bomb the hell outta tanks!"

We need information on what certain weapons are best designed for from the historical view.

&

2. Can we have a supply system put into the Campaign, so if I`m thinking what bombs to choose for my Hurricane I can click on the 250Lb load-out and get a simple written message of, "Sorry, pilot, we`re out of those."

It would be an added bonus if this was based on overall percentile Campaign success too. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Anyway, just another of my many ideas to make IL2/FB/PF immersive and enjoyable...

(One day i`ll make a full list! Oh yes, I will, I insist!)

I'm with SeaFireLIV on this on. I haven't a clue about most of the ordnance options, unless it says something like 250lbs. Half the time I don't even know if it's a bomb or a rocket.

Then I have to cancel, go into the object viewer, read all about it, restart the thing ...and forget it for next time. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

His idea is great esp. the availability.

Cheers
