I'm having repeatable crash-to-desktop condition using Open-GL "perfect" mode. Specifically, the crash occurs during the mission load sequence when "Loading landscape" is at %0. Is this a known issue? I had no luck locating any solutions in forums or online.
I'm running:
Il-2: FB v1.22
Geforce Ti 4400 128mb
XP2600
512Ram
latest driver for everything
thanks

Hi
With that graphics card use the
45.23 drivers.
resolution 1280x960 32bit
refresh rate 75htz +
stencil buffer on

And remeber those older cards were deigned to work best with Dx8.1

Nvidea driver archive can be found here.

My old machine, which was equipped with an Nvidia card, didn't like the mirrors turned on when I had selected the S3...(what ever that graphic accelerator setting is. I am at work now and don't have access to the game). When I turned that off the game quit crashing whenever a plane with a mirror was used. If I could get in and turn off the mirror option, then it would run just fine.

However, I remember reading somewhere that the resolution should be no more than 1024 X 768. And the refresh rate should be no less than 75 hertz.
