This little utiliy extracts 6dof motion information from any direct3d game and translates it for a motion platform.

My evil genius plan of buying a motion platform, a replica of a spitfire control coulmn, throttle quadrant and seat, a butkicker and an emargin VR headset (the new one which has a resoloution of 1280x1024) and incoperating them into BOB might just work now.

BWHAHHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

You will all be green with envy be sure!

Tho im thinking the entire system will cost about 10 grand...newh pitance compared to a real spitfire.

Mmmmm can get a huge sound system as well so its just like...deafening. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

May I give you a little, but usefull advise? I see one thing is missing from your list above: an easy accessable stowage with good ammount of vommit bags. You going to need them. Be sure. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

All the more realism then sasquon...I can attack waves or lufty bombers surrounded by the stench of my own vomit....adds to the atmosphere you know....perhaps pour a bit of petrol and castor oil here and there. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Maybe an electric shock system so i have a reason not to get shot at http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

For your information, Aimail, you misspelled "BWHAHHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA".

It should be spelled with an "M", not a "B". And it ends with twelve "A"s, not twenty-four.

Get your english right. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I know about eMagin Z800 but are they bringing out a new improved model? Where'd you find out about this? There's nothing at the eMagin site itself on this.

<EDIT> AH, got it: Right here. (http://www.3dvisor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=878&sid=30d57410a1b2dc2cd1eb4e65c716bb5f)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

If it's an OLED then won't it have a fairly limited life-span? I guess if you only use it for SoW it'll last long enough though. It's the very thing for total immersion if you've the rocketl, talk about putting you in the game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Why the replica of a spitfire control coulmn and VR goggles? You can't see the controls with the goggles on so that would be a bit hard to control them, and a waist. Or you would have to flip the goggles up and down all the time. Maybe a big screen and a projector build onto your motion platform would work better. Atleast then you can look at your beautifull controls.

Do VR goggles still just show you a big screen 6' from your head?

I play the piano....I dont look at the keys...I can play blindfolded...i feel with my hands...I can do that with keyboards and joysticks...

Ill be able to use that control coulumn wuth a VR headseat on....the main use is for the feel...will be great to see a spitfire control column in a virtual cockpit and be able to feel it<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The oled displays can be replaced, but i think they last for quite a long time.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
