My books just came in from amazon.com! I'm so stoked! They are:

Finnish Aces of World War 2
http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/2176/p783xal6xd.jpg

A Frozen Hell: The Russo-Finnish War of 1939-1940
http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8847/15651224964gv.jpg

Unfortunately I probably won't have much time to read them, at the moment I've got a lot of work, and coming up http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Either way, I'll get stuck into them sooner or later! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Those Osprey, aircraft of the aces books are really good. I have read most of them. They are full of useful information and some very goopd stories from pilots.

I also reccommend "Lentolaivue 24" from the Osprey series if you're interested in the Russo-Finnish War.

I have those two books too, Bushie. And just like you I have to get around to reading them. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There are actually a bunch of the Osprey Aces books that I bought that relates to FB/PF. There's one on Hungarian, Romanian, Polish, even Slovakian aces along with the bigger nations. Good stuff.

Ooooh, the Tempest/Typhoon one I got to buy, now that we're getting a flyable. I got the Hurricane book. There's one about Gladiator Aces too, I believe.

How many total are there? 25 or so? Or maybe I'm way off http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

They're up to 60 or so, I believe. But that's including all periods from WWI up to the present (Iraq & Afghanistan). Sometimes, I have a sneaky suspicion that Osprey follows the development of Oleg's sims and tries to tap that market because when FB came out you had all the Aces books for the different smaller nations in FB have a book out. And now they have books specifically for Yakovlev Aces and LaGG and Lavoichkin Aces. Hmmmm. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
